Brilliant. Puts me in mind (and I'm sure he was thinking about this) of Beckett. 'Ever tried. Ever failed. No Matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail better.' Or of course there's Sam's other witticism: 'To be an artist is to fail like no other dare fail.'
